Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehab

Location: Atlantis, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with one weekend/month and weekdays off to balance out.

Job Description: The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing inpatient care to patients in an acute care, skilled nursing facility (SNF), and inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role involves working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to create and implement effective treatment plans for orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurological, and general med/surg populations.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patients to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy interventions and adjust treatments based on patient progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities and equipment in patient treatment.
• Document patient progress in electronic medical records (EMR) system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in hospital acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or SNF.
• Ability to work varied day shift hours.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
