About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join its executive leadership team. The COO will be a key partner to the CEO, ensuring that the organization's strategic priorities are effectively translated into action and executed. This role involves providing executive oversight to a diverse portfolio of human service programs, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability, and leading a high-performing senior leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational and programmatic excellence, aligning resources with the organization's mission, and leading transformational change initiatives. A deep commitment to serving vulnerable communities and experience in mission-driven organizations, particularly those with significant public funding, is highly valued. The ideal COO for the company will have a proven track record in executive, operational, and people leadership, with a focus on financial stewardship and a practical approach to using technology and data to improve operations. Key responsibilities include partnering with the CFO on budgeting and resource allocation, strengthening organizational effectiveness, and advancing the company's position as a national leader in deploying technology and AI in human services. The role requires a leader with outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, who can engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree being a plus, and experience in government or with organizations that have significant government contracts is also a strong advantage.
