Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry setting during the night shift. Deliver compassionate patient support while maintaining adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient responses using Meditech EMR and Omnicell systems.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate patient care plans and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document patient progress accurately and promptly in electronic health records.
• Respond swiftly to patient needs and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Participate in call rotations during periods of low census to support staffing needs.
• Uphold compliance with hospital policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state credentials.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med-Surg and telemetry experience; step-down experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Meditech, Pumps, Alaris Meds, and Omnicell equipment.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work night shifts, including potential call responsibilities.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced inpatient setting.
