Job Overview:


seeking an experienced Network Engineer Consultant with strong expertise in Microsoft SCCM/MECM, Intune/MDM, and enterprise infrastructure environments . This role involves managing, monitoring, and optimizing network and server systems while ensuring security, performance, and compliance.


The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Windows Server environments, PowerShell scripting, virtualization, and disaster recovery strategies , along with strong communication and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical:

• Administer and support SCCM/MECM, Intune, and MDM environments
• Manage Windows Server (2019/2022/2025) and Windows 11 systems
• Perform PowerShell scripting and automation
• Monitor network infrastructure, performance, and security
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Support MS SQL and clustering environments
• Assist in disaster recovery and failover planning
• Implement system upgrades, patches, and configurations
• Perform root cause analysis and provide resolutions
• Work with vendors and internal teams for issue resolution

Functional / Non-Technical:

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders up to Director level
• Manage multiple tasks and provide status updates
• Maintain and update helpdesk tickets and documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Mentor junior team members
• Document processes, user guides, and system designs
• Recommend improvements and provide effort estimates

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience with SCCM / MECM / Intune / MDM
• 3+ years of experience with MS GCC High Tenant
• 5+ years of experience with Pub1075 compliance / audits
• 5+ years of Change Management experience
• 3+ years of Active Directory (RBAC / user access control)
• 5+ years of experience with LAN / VLAN networking
• 5+ years of experience with VMware virtualization
• Strong experience in PowerShell scripting
• Experience working with State/Government agencies (Required)

Preferred Skills:

• STIG Hardening
• Hybrid Cloud Architecture
• Hyperconverged Infrastructure
• Shell Scripting

Additional Technical Skills:

• Windows Server (2019/2022/2025)
• Network & system fundamentals
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education & Certifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree + 2 years experience
  OR
• Associate's degree + 4 years experience
  OR
• High School Diploma + 6 years experience

Preferred:

• Industry Certifications (MCP, MCSE, etc.)

Project Scope:

• Support enterprise infrastructure including Microsoft technologies, networking, and security systems
• Work on automation, system improvements, and infrastructure optimization
• Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and technical leadership
