Responsibilities include the decontamination of instruments and equipment. Candidates must be proficient in assembling instruments for various service lines. Experience with sterilization processes is essential. Candidates should have experience with high-level disinfection and scope processing. Experience with sterile storage and acting as a liaison for the operating room is preferred. Familiarity with tracking systems is also necessary. Candidates must be able to float between different locations if required. This position requires working evening shifts, Monday through Friday, with occasional holidays. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills. The facility is a busy trauma facility that requires adaptability and teamwork. All candidates must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Additional experience in acute hospitals or ambulatory surgery centers is a plus. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe reprocessing of surgical instruments. A commitment to maintaining high standards of sterile processing is critical. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for this role. Effective communication skills with interdisciplinary teams are necessary.
