Estates and Facilities Officer Hourly Rate: £14 - £16 Location: Hampshire Job Type: Full-time Monday to Friday We ARE ALWAYS RECRUITING Estates and Facilities Officer to join our team, providing a safe and welcoming environment for our students aged 16-19. This role combines vigilant site security with excellent customer service, supporting students as they transition to adulthood while upholding our college values and safety policies. Day-to-day of the role: Serve as a visible and approachable presence on campus to ensure the safety and security of all students and staff. Conduct regular patrols of the campus to monitor for any security issues or safety hazards. Provide assistance and support to students, helping to foster a supportive environment as they transition to adulthood. Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly, ensuring appropriate measures are taken to safeguard students and staff. Maintain logs and reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary. Participate in ongoing staff training to enhance security skills and stay updated on best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in security or facilities management, preferably in an educational setting. Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service. Ability to act with integrity and professionalism at all times. Excellent observational skills and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting positively with young adults. First aid and emergency response training are highly desirable. Benefits: Competitive hourly rate.
