Logistics Specialist

Job Scope As a Logistics Specialist you will be responsible for the safe, compliant, and cost‑effective execution of all site logistics activities, including domestic and international shipping and receiving. This role coordinates with carriers and warehouse resources, manages orders and deliveries, and ensures customer and regulatory requirements are met while maintaining all associated SAP transactions and shipping documents. Primary Responsibilities Coordinating inbound and outbound logistics for packaged and bulk materials, including shipping and receiving, verification, storage, and scheduling. Overseeing warehouse and yard operations, including space management, staging, trailer availability, and trailer inventory management. Maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, investigation of discrepancies, and implementation of corrective actions, while ensuring accurate SAP inventory transactions. Investigating customer complaints and determining appropriate corrective and preventive actions. Education Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, or hold a minimum of three years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environments with a high school diploma. Experience 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environments. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experience supporting logistics, warehouse, or supply‑chain duties in an industrial environment. Strong commitment to safety by proactively identifying and addressing unsafe conditions and adhering to established procedures. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment with limited supervision. Experience with SAP systems; additional proficiency is preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry in excess of 25 lbs.
