Shift Lead

We are hiring for either part-time or full-time depending on business needs and the ideal applicants availability, with opportunities for both Opening and Closing shifts . Shift Leads play an important role in the day-to-day operation of our store and help ensure our team delivers great food, fast service, and an excellent customer experience.

As a Shift Lead, you will help supervise team members and oversee store operations during your assigned shift. You will serve as a primary point of contact for employees and customers and will be responsible for helping keep the store running smoothly when the Assistant Manager or General Manager is not present.

Starting Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour (depending on the candidates experience and background)

What We Are Looking For

Previous restaurant, pizza, retail, customer service, or supervisory experience is preferred. However, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong leadership potential, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

Successful Shift Leads are comfortable working alongside their team. This is a hands-on leadership position—you may be directing employees one minute and making pizzas, answering phones, helping a customer, cleaning, or completing prep the next.

Shift Lead Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise team members and help coordinate store operations during assigned shifts
• Open and/or close the store
• Train and support Insiders and Drivers on their responsibilities and store procedures
• Ensure fast, friendly, and accurate customer service
• Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and effectively
• Take customer orders and accurately process payments
• Make pizzas, salads, breads, and other menu items according to company standards
• Cut, box, and route orders
• Complete food preparation and dough production as business needs require
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance
• Ensure food is properly prepared, handled, labeled, and stored
• Monitor product quality and ensure company standards are consistently followed
• Follow and enforce cash-handling procedures
• Assist with cash counts, voids, discrepancies, and other shift-level financial responsibilities
• Assist with inventory counts, food usage, waste tracking, and vendor orders
• Maintain working knowledge of the store's POS system and assist with troubleshooting operational issues
• Monitor key operational goals including labor, food usage, order accuracy, late orders, and service times
• Identify maintenance or equipment issues and communicate with Management or appropriate vendors as needed
• Ensure employees follow company appearance, grooming, food safety, and workplace standards
• Ensure the store operates in accordance with applicable health and food-safety requirements
• Communicate shift performance, concerns, and follow-up items to the Assistant Manager and General Manager

Requirements

• Reliable transportation or access to dependable transportation
• Eligible to work in the United States (we are unable to provide employment sponsorship at this time)
• Ability to work a combination of weekdays and weekends
• Availability for opening and/or closing shifts depending
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers, and Management
• Previous food-service or leadership experience is preferred
