About the Position

Our client is seeking a professional Local CDL A Truck Driver for a home-daily delivery position in Buford, GA. This role involves operating a tractor-trailer with a dry van and liftgate while completing local LTL deliveries. Drivers must be comfortable operating a manual transmission and handling light touch freight.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $26.00 per hour
Overtime available after 40 hours
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Start time: 6:00 a.m.
Hours per week: 40
Employment type: Temp-to-perm
Home daily

Job Details

Handling: Driver unload, palletized freight, and light touch freight
Stops: 15–17 per day
Equipment: Tractor-trailer, dry van with liftgate
Transmission: Manual

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a manual-transmission tractor-trailer on local routes.
Complete approximately 15–17 deliveries per day.
Unload palletized freight using the liftgate and perform light touch handling as needed.
Follow all applicable safety procedures and DOT regulations.
Provide professional and courteous service at delivery locations.

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
Experience operating like equipment, including tractor-trailers with manual transmissions.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
At least 25 years of age.
