Job Description

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients admitted to the hospital with a strong emphasis on rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will possess a rehabilitation-focused mindset and be adept at providing comprehensive evaluations and treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and create treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
• Provide patient-centered care with a focus on rehabilitation outcomes.
• Engage in treatments that enhance patient rehabilitation and recovery.
• Ability to utilize available rehabilitation equipment and resources.
• Document patient progress and treatment effectiveness utilizing Cerner documentation system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid state license as an Occupational Therapist.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a rehab-focused setting is preferred.
