Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Operating Room

This is a 13-week contract position.

Charleston, South Carolina

Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM, includes holiday rotation and on-call shifts.

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our dynamic Surgery team. The CST will function within a level-one trauma center environment, operating in a busy, nurse-driven department dedicated to providing comprehensive surgical services.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the Operating Room.
• Participate in various surgical procedures, including Orthopedic, Neuro, ENT, and Robotic surgeries.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during surgical procedures.
• Perform scrubbing duties and maintain sterile conditions.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technology experience required.
• Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with Neuro, ENT, and Robotic surgical cases is highly preferred.
• South Carolina CST license or proof of pending application.
