Job Title

Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Contract

Location

Jourdanton, TX

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (Travel) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM | Rotating Weekends | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 11-bed Emergency Department with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Perform and demonstrate proficiency in ESI triage, splinting, STEMI and stroke processes
• Assist with procedures including chest tube insertions, central line placements, and lumbar punctures
• Accurately document patient care and clinical information using the Meditech documentation system
• Adhere to patient experience standards including AIDET communication techniques and use of communication boards
• Float to other units as needed in accordance with facility floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• Minimum 2.5 years of Emergency Department experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current TNCC certification
• Current PALS or ENPC certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech or EDM documentation systems
• Specialty or unit-based Emergency Department certifications
• Demonstrated excellence in time management within a fast-paced ED environment
