Medical Assistant

Willis Knighton Health is seeking a medical assistant to work in a fast-paced urology clinic. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, critical thinking and organization skills, attention to detail, flexibility, dependability, possess excellent communication skills, have a solid knowledge of computers, and have the initiative to work independently. We have an atmosphere of teamwork that we expect to continue with all new hires as you will work closely with the physicians, managers, nursing, and clerical staff as an integral component assisting with the daily operations of our clinics.

The medical assistant will have clerical and medical assisting duties. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, giving excellent customer service, filing data entries, the ability to perform urology tests, assisting in and setting up urology procedures such as cystoscopies, urodynamics, and urine specimens, taking vital signs, answering/returning phone calls, refills and scheduling of tests and procedures as ordered.

Hospital and departmental orientation will be provided upon completion of the hiring process as well as training on our enterprise-wide practice system, including health records. You will be required to work Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
