Fitness Attendant The Fitness Attendant is responsible for the general supervision of the fitness center, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests while delivering outstanding customer service. Key responsibilities include: Setting up, maintaining, and cleaning all fitness equipment and facility areas. Greeting guests, explaining programs and activities, and providing guidance on equipment usage. Reporting and resolving guest complaints promptly and professionally. Maintaining accurate attendance records and ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations in a tactful manner. Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of the front desk and surrounding areas. Attending all required meetings and trainings. Maintaining punctuality and adhering to scheduled work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Meeting regularly with supervisor to review duties and performance. Performing additional duties as assigned. Essential functions include: Stationary position--sitting or standing. Active position--walking, jogging, running. Use of hands/fingers--operate, use, inspect, place, detect, position, prepare, activate. Climb/balance--stairs, ladders, ropes, equipment, beams. Stoop/kneel/crouch or crawl--position self, move. Talk/hear--communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself, exchange information. See--detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, assess. Carry weight, lift--move, transport, position, put, install, remove--50 lbs or less. Carry weight, lift--move, transport, position, put, install, remove--50 lbs or more. Exposure to--exposed, work around, chemicals, odors, smells, noise, indoors or outdoors, heat, cool.
