Job Description:

Registered Nurse needed for the GI Lab with experience in endoscopy procedures. The role includes assisting physicians during GI and endoscopy procedures in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physician during GI and endoscopy procedures.
• Manage pre-op and post-op care for patients.
• Handle admissions and recoveries in the GI Lab/Endoscopy unit.
• Administer moderate sedation and pass an EKG test on the first day.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in GI Lab/Endoscopy PACU, with admission and recovery knowledge.
• Active IL nursing license, CPR, ACLS certification, and Epic experience required.
• Experience with Med/Surg Tele and preferable GI procedural experience.
• Familiarity with Olympus scopes and various endoscopy supplies.
