If you're looking for a leadership opportunity with real scale, strong underwriting discipline, and a defined niche, this platform stands out.
This role oversees a $70M East Coast book of business, spanning from North Carolina up through Maine and will provide both geographic diversity and meaningful market influence. You won't just be managing production, you will be leading a team of 8 experienced professionals while shaping strategy, driving growth, and building a high-performing culture.
What truly differentiates this opportunity is the focus on middle market construction with guaranteed cost business. That means disciplined underwriting, predictable performance, and a client base that values long-term partnership over transactional deals. With a minimum account size of $100K, you're working exclusively with meaningful, revenue-generating relationships - you will not be chasing small accounts.
From a portfolio standpoint, this team supports a broad and resilient segment of the construction economy, including:
- Commercial general contractors
- Heavy civil projects such as water & sewer infrastructure
- Underground utilities and site development
- Electrical, HVAC, and mechanical contractors
- Specialized trades and non-structural concrete work
This diversity creates strong risk spread and consistent pipeline opportunities, while still staying within a clearly defined, profitable niche.
