Licensed Optician

We are looking for a skilled Licensed Optician to join our optical warehouse and lab team. In this role, you will focus on high-volume prescription verification, lens processing, frame inspection, and inventory management in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Verify incoming and outgoing prescription single vision, bifocal, and progressive lenses using manual and automated lensometers. Perform quality control inspections on finished eyewear to ensure strict adherence to optical standards and prescription accuracy. Utilize frame alignment and bench tools for precise mounting, beveling, edging, frame shaping, and structural adjustments. Process, track, and fulfill high-volume optical orders using optical POS and warehouse inventory management software. Manage optical inventory, organize frames and lens stock, and prepare orders for dispatch or distribution. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve prescription discrepancies or technical lens issues. Qualifications & Requirements Licensure: Active Nevada Optician License required (ABO / NCLE certifications preferred). Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in an optical dispensary, lab, or clinical optometry/ophthalmology setting. ( strictly required ). Technical Skills: High proficiency with automated/manual lensometers, frame alignment tools, and optical POS or inventory software.
