Benefits 38 days off per year Signing bonus includes moving expenses 401(k) matching contribution Medical, dental and vision premiums paid in full by the medical group for employee, spouse and dependents Loan repayment options available Location Hilo, HI Position Responsibilities Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and liver biopsies to evaluate and treat gastrointestinal conditions. Conduct comprehensive assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations. Diagnose and treat a wide range of GI conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, preferences, and medical history. Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations accurately and timely in the electronic health record system. Minimum Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Gastroenterology. Valid medical license to practice in Hawaii (or eligibility for licensure). At least 3 years of experience as a gastroenterologist after completing gastroenterology fellowship program.
