About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Compassion Empathy Description: The Emergency Department has 30 physical beds and 8 hall beds. There are 77 staff members in the unit. Day Shift includes a Charge Nurse, 7 RNs, and other support staff. Night Shift includes a Charge Nurse and 8 RNs. The patient ratio is 1:4. Equipment used includes Baxter IV pumps, GE Monitors, Ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, a portable EKG machine, and an EMR system. Typical procedures performed include NIH, IV/blood draws, Moderate Sedation, TNK, and Cardiac monitoring. The best personality fit is a team player. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role. Candidates with additional preferred skills will be prioritized. Every other weekend availability is required. A specific dress code of royal blue scrubs is in effect.
