Interventional Radiology Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00), Monday to Friday.

The Interventional Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures within the Interventional Radiology department. This includes preparation and assistance in procedures such as angioplasty, embolization, and biopsies, ensuring patient safety and protocol compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the procedure room, ensuring a sterile environment.
• Conduct and assist with interventional radiology procedures, such as carotid angiography, nephrostomy, and biliary placement.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging and intervention processes.
• Maintain and operate radiologic equipment, ensuring proper function and safety compliance.
• Participate in departmental quality assurance and infection control programs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
• ARRT certification in Radiography.
• BLS certification.
• Preferred certifications: ARRT CI (Cardiac Interventional) and ARRT VI (Vascular Interventional).
• Previous stroke-certified hospital experience is preferred.
