Job Summary
\n The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), under the direction of a Physical Therapist, is responsible for providing therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards.

Licenses and Certifications
\n Must have and maintain a current, valid state PTA licensure or certification
\n Current valid CPR certification, preferred

\n

Qualifications
\n Education: Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
Experience : 0-1 years

\n

 

\n

Roles and Responsibilities
\n • Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation).
\n • Observe patient responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings and any concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
\n • Observe and maintain up-to-date documentation related to patients’ responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
\n • Provide instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to support continued progress at home.
\n • Support Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations and insights.
\n • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. •
