Schedule: PRN Shift: Day (United States) Address: 100 HOSPITAL DR City: HENDERSONVILLE State: North Carolina Postal Code: 28792 Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients. Develop and implement individualized care plans, regularly evaluating and revising them. Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following orders and protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions. Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications, and self‑care strategies. Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes. Evaluate effectiveness of care plans continuously, making adjustments to improve health outcomes. Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families. Supervise and delegate care provided by members of the healthcare team. Engage in continuous professional development and performance improvement activities. Respond to code situations promptly and stabilize patients. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Organizational and multitasking skills. Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures. Team player within a unit. Effective verbal, oral communication and problem‑solving skills. Knowledge of EKG (based on patient; refer to EKG and Advanced Life Support Requirements). Fluency in English (reading, speaking, writing). Basic computer skills, able to navigate Microsoft Windows‑based programs. High level of abstract reasoning to assess patients, evaluate interventions, and revise care plans. Education Associate’s of Nursing (required). Bachelor’s of Nursing (preferred). Field of Study N/A Work Experience 1+ year acute‑care hospital setting (preferred). Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Program – preferred. S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification – preferred. Trauma Nurse Course Certified (TNCC) – preferred. Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) – preferred.
