Linux System Administrator8+ years of experience in Linux system administration, preferably in a data center or video delivery environmentProficiency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), versions 7, 8, and 9 and aboveFamiliarity with CentOS LinuxStrong understanding of Linux system administration fundamentals, including user management, file systems, networking, and securityFamiliarity with Cisco UCS-C220 M5 and M6 hardwareExperience with server installation, configuration, and maintenanceProficiency with scripting languages such as Bash and PythonExperience with automation tools like Ansible (highly preferred) or similar configuration management systemsUnderstanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, and firewallsExperience deploying and managing applications including backup and restore processes on Linux serversFamiliarity with the video delivery platforms is a MUSTExperience with Git, Artifactory or other version control systemsUnderstanding of security best practices for Linux systemsExperience with MPEG monitoring tools and Splunk dashboardsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with the Jira and the Remedy ticketing system
