Description for Production Laborer:

  • Machinery Setup: Learn the technical parameters to set up manufacturing presses correctly before initiating active production cycles.
  • Settings & Quality Control: Monitor, control, and adjust machine settings continuously during production runs to ensure structural product accuracy and eliminate defects.
  • Shift Documentation: Collaborate with line leaders to complete crucial facility operational and safety checklists before the end of each shift.
  • Multi-Department Cross-Training: Proactively cross-train across various manufacturing departments to expand your overall industrial knowledge and support team adaptability.
Details for Production Laborer:

  • Pay Rate: $17.25 / hour starting base wage (The company performs regular, structured internal performance reviews for wage raises!).
  • Schedule Options (Choose Your Ideal Run):
  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Graveyard Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Great for night owls looking for stable, high-volume hours!)
  • Shift Layout: Full-Time 12-hour shifts, providing substantial weekly stability and built-in overtime.
  • Location: Tacoma, WA.
  • Status: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire path.
Requirements for Production Laborer:

  • Safety Footwear: Must possess and wear your own personal steel-toed shoes or boots daily on the active facility floor. (The company provides all secondary personal protective equipment/PPE completely free!).
  • Aptitude & Detail: Laser-sharp attention to detail to monitor machine tolerances and spot production defects early.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong teamwork metrics and solid verbal communication habits to sync safely with a high-performance crew.
  • Trade Background Preferred: Prior hands-on experience working inside a production plant, assembly house, or manufacturing layout is preferred but not required.
  • Reliability: Dependable transportation habits paired with an exceptional track record of prompt, daily workplace attendance.
