Truck Driver Level 1

We are currently hiring Class A Truck Drivers without experience. Qualified applicants must have graduated from an accredited Academy with at least 120 hours of instruction within the last 2 years. We ask for a copy of your certificate of completion or transcripts for us to verify your total hours. After working hard to get your Class A CDL, you find out that no one will hire you. OTR is actually known as sleeping in the truck in 3 separate states besides your home state. It does not mean you'll be gone for 3-4 weeks at a time. When you first start training it is similar to basic training in the military. Your first 30 days will be spent driving OTR with a trainer for 30 days straight. You will not get home during that first month. After training you'll want to unwind for a few days taking 2-5 days off. You'll then sit down with your driver manager and get a company truck assigned to you. At this point your benefits will kick in as well. You'll choose from several different openings. Presently we are hiring for 36 openings for Class A drivers without experience. We offer excellent pay, excellent benefits and several home time options. After training you will be expected to run regionally, getting home every week or OTR getting home every 10-14 days. Don't plan on working locally. Local runs do become available often, however when you first start don't plan on driving locally. Once you build your experience for several months you'll then be able to acquire many other positions including local and dedicated runs. We have different division opportunities, such as dry van, reefer and flatbed. We also offer tuition reimbursement available for those who paid upfront themselves to go to school. Up to $1,000. It's like a sign on bonus for trainees. Process Once our HR team receives your application, we will call you and conduct a short phone interview to qualify you. Once we determine your eligibility, we will then review all of the position details with you and move forward with the application process. We then start the application with you. After that we will email you a link to complete the second part on your own. Then your application will be reviewed by an HR admin processor. Once you are approved, you will be scheduled for driver qualification. DQP (driver qualification process) lasts normally 1-2 days. If you reside outside a 50 mile radius from DQP we reserve a hotel room for you. We provide breakfast at the hotel, lunch will be catered in. After you complete DQP, you will be hired and go out with a driver trainer for 4 weeks. At this point you earn $650 per week during this time. Once training is complete, you will then take 2-5 days at home to wind down after your training. You will then become a solo driver and move into a full time position. After which your pay will increase to anywhere from $1,200 - $1,400+ per week. Home times will vary depending on the run. Qualifications Be at least 21 years of age or older Be able to prove at least 120 total hours of training from an accredited Training Academy within the last 2 years. Pass a thorough background check, no pending charges/tickets. Your background must be fairly clean to qualify. Pass all DOT related tests including hair or urine. Hair goes back approx 6-12 months Have an excellent DMV report with no pending tickets You must provide copies of all tickets in the last 3 years. All accident reports for the last 5 years.
