Make a positive impact on young learners in an elementary school setting as a dedicated, certified paraprofessional. This full-time contract opportunity is located near Warwick, RI, providing consistent hours and the chance to work closely with students and educators.

Key Qualifications:

• Active TA certification or Paraprofessional certification required
• Previous paraprofessional experience preferred, especially in an elementary environment
• Ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and staff
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Reliability, professionalism, and a proactive attitude

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers with daily instructional activities and classroom management
• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to help students reach academic and behavioral goals
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed by teaching staff
• Assist with organizing instructional materials and adapting resources for diverse student needs
• Promote a safe and inclusive classroom environment for all students
• Participate in professional development and training sessions as required

This position is a full-time commitment totaling 32.5 hours per week, offering meaningful engagement with elementary students and the school community.
