This is a direct hire opportunity with a client located in the Gainesville area.
Fully Onsite | Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM
Were seeking a Collections Specialist to join a collaborative Accounts Receivable team. This is a great opportunity for someone with collections or AR experience who is comfortable communicating directly with customers and managing a significant portfolio of past-due accounts.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Contact customers by phone and email regarding past-due balances
- Manage collection activity and follow up on payment commitments
- Process customer payment requests
- Research and help resolve customer account issues
- Prepare aging, collection activity, and account status reports
Qualifications:
- Previous collections, accounts receivable, or related customer service experience
- Strong communication and customer relationship skills
- Comfortable handling difficult collection conversations professionally
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial software systems
