Contract MLT Position

Contract MLT position for a 13-week assignment within travel distance of Missoula, MT. Provide accurate laboratory testing, collaborate with healthcare teams, and maintain compliance with ASCP and BLS standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and timely laboratory testing results in accordance with facility protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure proper sample collection, processing, and documentation.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and quality standards, including ASCP certification and BLS requirements.
• Monitor and operate laboratory equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed.
• Document all procedures and results accurately within the EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science or related field from an accredited institution.
• ASCP certification.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of generalist laboratory experience with phlebotomy skills.
• Ability to work 36 hours per week, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, flexibility to adapt to shift changes.
