Express Employment Casper, WY is looking for an Excavator/Dozer Operator for one of our valued clients.


Job Summary:


Supports construction projects by safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment used for earthmoving, grading, trenching, and site development. This role is ideal for individuals who are experienced, safety-minded, and comfortable working in fast-paced outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators, dozers, and other heavy equipment to perform digging, grading, cutting, backfilling, and site preparation.
• Read and follow site plans, grade stakes, and instructions from supervisors to complete work accurately.
• Perform routine equipment inspections, basic maintenance, and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Assist with job-site tasks such as material movement, trenching, and support activities when equipment operation is not required.
• Ensure safe operation around utilities, structures, personnel, and other equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
• Communicate effectively with crew members, foremen, and project managers to maintain smooth workflow and productivity

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating excavators, dozers, or similar heavy equipment.
• Strong understanding of job-site safety practices and safe operating procedures.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.
• Solid work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow directions.
• CDL not required but considered a plus (depending on employer needs).
• Ability to read grade stakes, reference marks, or GPS grade control systems is a plus
