Position Summary We are seeking an experienced, full‑time Physician Assistant to serve as a float provider between our Old Bridge, Milltown, and Freehold locations. This position is ideal for a confident clinician who enjoys practicing independently in a high‑volume urgent care setting. Providers work primarily as the sole medical provider on shift, supported by experienced clinical staff. Candidates must be comfortable evaluating and managing a broad range of urgent care and occupational medicine presentations across all age groups. New graduates will not be considered for this position. Schedule Full‑time 12‑hour shifts Every other weekend required Rotating schedule between Old Bridge, Milltown, and Freehold locations Closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries Perform comprehensive medical assessments and develop treatment plans Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing Perform procedures including: Laceration repair Incision and drainage Wound management Splinting and orthopedic injury evaluation Provide occupational medicine services, including workers' compensation evaluations Prescribe medications within scope of practice Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medications, and preventive health measures Collaborate with supervising physicians according to established protocols Qualifications Current Physician Assistant license in New Jersey NCCPA certification required Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience strongly preferred Experience managing patients independently in a fast‑paced clinical environment Proficiency with common urgent care procedures Excellent communication and patient-service skills Ability to travel between assigned AFC locations Preferred Experience Emergency Medicine Urgent Care Occupational Medicine Family Medicine with significant acute care experience Compensation $72–$85 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
