Role Description The PMO Advisory Consultant will deliver and sell PMO advisory services, providing expert guidance to clients in the public and private sectors. This hybrid role reports into the Arcadis office in Charlotte, NC. Business development and service delivery as a PMO consultant. Advise clients on the setup and operations of Program Management Offices, focusing on team structure, systems, procedures, and effective approaches for managing large capital construction programs. Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership to clients regarding team structure, systems, procedures, and approaches for effectively managing large capital construction programs. Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and objectives and provide tailored recommendations and solutions. Conduct assessments and evaluations of existing PMOs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to optimize performance. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to program management, and integrate this knowledge. Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor, ensuring client satisfaction and successful project outcomes. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Experience delivering programs or complex projects in Sustainability, Corporate Real Estate, Asset Management, or Construction (3+ years). Experience with global program delivery. Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in program management, PMO setup, and large capital programs. Demonstrated success in managing, leading and developing teams, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment. Strong knowledge of PMO frameworks, methodologies, and best practices. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members effectively. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP) are highly desirable. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage. EAP, 401(k), STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance. The salary range for this position is USD$105,000 - USD$155,000. Actual salaries vary based on experience, education, budget, and internal equity.
