As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You may support sensitive hospital areas and assist with security-related responses involving individuals. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:30 PM - 11:00 PMWed02:30 PM - 11:00 PMThur02:30 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols. Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and adherence to facility access procedures. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives. Minimum Requirements: Be able to work in a hospital morgue. Be able to restrain individuals. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
