Activities Assistant (PRN) -

Riverwood Center, a leading provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitation services, is seeking a full-time Activities Assistant to support our Activities Director in creating engaging programs that promote physical, social, and emotional well-being for our residents.
What You'll Do:Help plan, organize, and lead a variety of activities, such as games, music, crafts, and socials, to support residents' overall well-being and foster connections among the community.
Connect with residents to spark joy, encourage participation, and build meaningful relationships.
Create inclusive and accessible activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
Set up and tidy activity spaces, ensuring organization and efficiency.
Participate in team meetings and training to stay up-to-date on new programs and initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of resident involvement and activity success.
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with older adults in recreational or social settings (a plus)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Positive, upbeat personality with a genuine passion for helping others
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
