Activity Director

Activity Director Join our dynamic team where we empower individuals through individualized rehabilitation, ensure a safe environment, and provide therapeutic activities and cognitive management tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activity Director to lead our recreational therapy program, fostering a sense of community and promoting overall well‑being among our residents. Responsibilities Develop and implement activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents, including exercise classes, arts and crafts, social events, and outings Recruit and supervise a team of activity aides and volunteers to assist with program implementation Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure activities align with resident goals and therapeutic plans Conduct assessments to identify resident needs and preferences, and develop individualized activity plans accordingly Maintain accurate records of activity participation, resident feedback, and program evaluations Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall resident experience Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or a related field Prior experience as an Activity Director or in a related role, with a minimum of 2 years of experience Certification in Recreation Therapy (CTRS) or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe Benefits A dynamic and supportive work environment that prioritizes resident care and satisfaction Opportunities for professional growth and development A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package (TBD) #J-18808-Ljbffr Skilled Nursing of Ohio
