Full-Time Barn Manager – Double Diamond Equestrian Center

Location : Midland, Texas

Double Diamond Equestrian Center is seeking a full-time Barn Manager to join our team. We are looking for a detail-oriented, focused, positive, reliable, and dedicated individual with horse experience who takes pride in maintaining a professional and well-run equestrian facility.

Schedule :

M-Th and 1 weekend per month

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Feeding horses
• Mucking stalls
• Managing feed, bedding, and supply inventory
• Assisting with lesson programs
• Performing therapy and rehabilitation exercises with horses
• Monitoring horse health and daily care
• General barn organization and maintenance
• Supporting the overall operation of the facility

Qualifications :

• Previous horse experience required
• Basic horse medical knowledge required
• Ability to manage and lead a team
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and dependable attendance
• Horse show experience is a plus
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
• Must be capable of performing the physical demands of barn work, including unloading feed, mucking stalls, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
