Responsibilities: • Set up cooking stations and fill them with all of the essential preparation items for a shift • Prepare food orders on the line by cooking items to order, grilling, broiling, sauteing and meet all presentation guidelines and follow standard recipes • Guarantee that quality food is supplied, by adhering to specified storage and waste control requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products • Demonstrate professional and pleasant demeanor when interacting with visitors, vendors, and associates • Clean and sanitize all workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and the refrigerator, in accordance with health and safety regulations Prepare and cook breakfast menu items according to recipes and standards.Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet hotel expectations.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all kitchen areas.Properly store, label, and rotate food products.Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management.Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing kitchen supplies.Provide timely service to support an exceptional guest experience.Schedule: Morning shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. Qualifications: • Prior food service industry experience is highly desired • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members • Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements • Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, breakfast cook, or in a similar food service role preferred.Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices.Ability to prepare multiple menu items efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation.Ability to follow recipes, portion controls, and standard operating procedures.Reliable attendance and punctuality, with the ability to work early morning shifts.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Must obtain and maintain any required food handler certifications in accordance with local regulations.Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as business needs require. Compensation: $16 - $17 hourly
