Your Responsibilities Conduct technical consultations to assess customer applications and identify improvement opportunities Design and recommend automation solutions tailored to specific industrial needs Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations for new technologies Prepare detailed proposals, specifications, and quotes Build long‑term partnerships with engineering teams, plant managers, and maintenance professionals Stay current on emerging automation technologies through ongoing training Travel within your territory to provide on‑site support and consultation What You Bring Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Automation, Electrical, Industrial, or related field). Equivalent technical degree and/or hands‑on industrial experience will be considered. Strong foundation in Industrial Automation & Control Systems: PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) Remote I/O (RIO) HMI (Human‑Machine Interface) SCADA systems Knowledge of VFDs & Motor Control systems Understanding of Industrial Networking protocols Excellent communication, presentation, and problem‑solving skills Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory (some overnight travel) Highly Valued Skills Industrial instrumentation (level, pressure, flow measurement) Power distribution systems (LV/MV switchgear, MCCs, panelboards) Experience in technical sales or application engineering Personal Attributes Passionate about customer success and building trusted partnerships Self‑motivated with strong consultative selling abilities Eager to continuously learn and expand technical expertise Strong work ethic and professional presence Competitive base salary + commission (no cap) 401(k) retirement plan with company matching Insurance coverage includes: health, dental, vision, accident, and availability of specialty/cancer insurance Life insurance and disability coverage (short & long‑term) Paid leave: holidays, vacation, sick, and bereavement Paid volunteer day to give back to a nonprofit of your choice Ongoing technical training from industry‑leading manufacturers Vehicle allowance/reimbursement program Ready to Make an Impact?
