Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health position requiring at least 1 year of experience and current state licensure.

Details

• Home health therapy services setting with approximately 6 patient visits per day
• 8-hour day shift schedule, 0800-1700, 40 hours per week
• No weekend rotation required
• On-call not required unless requested
• Patient population includes chronic disease management, wound care, IV therapy, pleurx, and wound vac cases
• Charting completed using Homecare Homebase (HCHB)

Requirements

• Current state OT licensure required (if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Charting experience with Homecare Homebase required, no exceptions
• Skills required include IV therapy, pleurx, wound vac, wound care, disease teaching, and OASIS assessment
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered if seasoned in home health
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• 5-day facility and unit orientation including NEO
• Departmental leadership support available
• Scrub color requirements: Navy Blue for Nursing, Grey for Therapy
• Free parking available
• RTO subject to manager approval
• Travelers expected to work 75% of holidays
• Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position
