We Are Hiring a Customer Support Specialist!

Shift: 1st 6am-4pm Mon-Thu | 8am-12 Friday
Pay: $19-21/hr

If you're organized, customer-focused, and love keeping all the moving pieces on track, this could be the role for you! You'll be at the center of the action, connecting customers with internal teams, managing orders from start to finish, solving problems, and making sure customers always know what to expect.

What are we looking for?
The Customer Support Specialist is the key connection between customers and internal teams, ensuring orders are processed accurately, communication stays on track, and customer expectations are met from order entry through delivery. Duties & Responsibilities

• Be the go-to connection for customers, providing friendly, responsive support for orders, questions, service needs, and updates.
• Keep things moving by creating order numbers, entering purchase orders and quotes, and sending timely order confirmations.
• Manage a busy shared inbox while making sure customer requests receive prompt, professional follow-up.
• Enter, confirm, and update orders in SAP, E2, and other internal systems, ensuring pricing, lead times, shipping details, and order information are accurate.
• Stay one step ahead by tracking open orders, shipments, backorders, and delivery timelines and proactively communicating any changes or delays.
• Partner with production, engineering, quality, and shipping teams to keep customer priorities clear and orders on schedule.
• Act as the bridge between customers and internal teams, solving problems, answering questions, and keeping communication flowing.
• Build and maintain accurate customer profiles, including contacts, product information, tax certificates, and quotes in QuickBooks and E2.
• Help prepare for customer meetings by gathering information, organizing materials, and providing up-to-date order details.
• Pitch in wherever needed while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace.

• Familiarity with a manufacturing or job shop environment.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple priorities without missing a beat.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with a solutions-focused mindset.
• Ability to confidently read and understand work orders and instructions.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• A team-player mentality with the confidence to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
