Commercial Lender OpportunityAngott Search Group is partnering confidentially with a respected, relationship-driven community bank seeking a Commercial Lender to support continued growth in the Springfield, IL market.This role is ideal for a motivated business developer who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, and driving new loan production rather than managing an inherited portfolio.The OpportunityFocus on new business development and loan growthLocal decision-making and supportive credit cultureOpportunity to build and grow a commercial portfolioStrong community presence and long-term career stabilityKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop new commercial lending relationships (CRE and/or C&I)Prospect and originate new loan opportunitiesAnalyze financial statements and structure credit solutionsManage and grow a commercial portfolioPartner with credit, operations, and leadership teamsRepresent the bank within the local business communityQualifications2–3+ years Commercial Lending experience (CRE or C&I)Proven prospecting and business development mindsetEntrepreneurial "fire in the belly" to drive productionAnnual production expectations of approximately $9–10MM for seasoned lendersSpringfield market ties strongly preferredCompensation & Benefits HighlightsCompetitive base salary + incentive compensationComprehensive medical, dental & vision benefits401(k) with match and profit sharingGenerous PTO and volunteer time offProfessional development resources and career advancement opportunitiesWellness and employee engagement programs
