Custom Architectural & Electric Sign Production Designer

BSC Signs is seeking an experienced Production Designer to join our award-winning custom sign company.

For over 27 years, we’ve designed, fabricated, and installed high-quality architectural and electric signage throughout Colorado and across the United States. We are a fast-paced, creative shop producing everything from custom illuminated signs to large architectural structures.

Position Overview

The Production Designer is responsible for translating sales concepts and design intent into accurate production/shop drawings for fabrication and installation teams.

Drawings will include detailed instructions for:

• Routing
• Vinyl/graphics production
• Fabrication
• Paint
• Electrical components
• Assembly and installation

 

The goal of this role is to create clear, efficient production drawings that help maximize labor and material efficiency throughout the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in the custom sign industry
• Strong understanding of sign construction methods and materials
• Experience with architectural and electric signage
• Excellent conceptual and production drawing skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Experience with both 2D and 3D design software

• CAD Tools
• FlexiSign
• Rhino
