Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform system maintenance on equipment, systems, and support infrastructure. You will play a vital role in ensuring the functionality and safety of our operations by following documented procedures and work instructions.
Responsibilities

• Perform system maintenance on all equipment, systems, and support infrastructure.
• Conduct cleaning and leak checking of all systems and components.
• Clean tools and components after maintenance activities.
• Package and prepare components for shipment to external vendors for cleaning or repair.
• Complete daily maintenance tasks and system checks.
• Update Excel-based maintenance logs and preventive maintenance (PM) records.
• Work with hazardous materials including alkyls, acids, hazardous gases, and inert gases.
• Operate power tools, hand tools, and bench tools safely and effectively.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Utilize and understand basic electronic test equipment.
• Maintain facility equipment, building systems, and grounds.
• Follow direction from the Maintenance Manager and Technicians.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and environmental regulations.

• Familiarity with CMMS systems (COGZ preferred)
• Basic knowledge of electronic test equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical school certification required
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience in facility maintenance or cleanroom environments preferred

Work Environment
Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing and facility environment. You must be physically able to pass a pulmonary function test for respirator use and possess sufficient mobility and physical reflexes for extended periods of standing or sitting. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and involves pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and lifting. Exposure to chemicals, gases, and industrial equipment is part of the job, and reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of San Jose, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
