Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to adult inpatients, including ICU and ED, and general pediatrics; no NICU/PICU requires
- Administer therapies (ventilation support, airway clearance therapies, bronchodilators, and related medications) and monitor patient responses; adjust as ordered
- Assess, plan, implement, and document respiratory care in the electronic medical record (Epic) with accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and modify care plans; participate in rounds and ensure patient safety and infection control standards
- Respond to respiratory distress and participate in emergent situations as part of the inpatient care team
- Maintain competency for shift-specific duties and adhere to scheduling expectations, including weekends as needed and no on-call commitments

Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license; CRT not accepted
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA); NBRC verification; NRP
- Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience; prior travel experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required
- Inpatient experience in adult ICU, adult ED, and general pediatrics; no NICU or PICU required
- Teaching hospital experience preferred; reliable transportation required; scheduling involves Monday orientation and weekends as needed
