Junior Project Manager

We're partnering with a growing technology consulting and infrastructure solutions provider that delivers complex network modernization, cybersecurity, and infrastructure transformation projects for Federal, Higher Education, and Public Sector clients. As part of continued growth, they are seeking a Junior Project Manager to join their Professional Services team and support the successful delivery of client-facing technology projects. This is not an administrative coordinator role. You'll work directly with senior engineers, architects, project managers, and client stakeholders, gaining hands‑on experience managing real-world technology initiatives while developing the skills needed to advance into a senior project management career. What You’ll Be Doing As a Junior Project Manager, you'll play a key role in coordinating project activities across multiple client engagements, including: Maintaining project schedules, action registers, and delivery plans Coordinating engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and client stakeholders Tracking project risks, dependencies, and outstanding action items Supporting hardware procurement, logistics, and deployment scheduling Preparing weekly project status reports and client communications Facilitating project meetings, documenting decisions, and driving follow‑up actions Assisting with project documentation, closeout reports, and lessons learned Supporting project financial tracking and resource planning activities You'll be assigned to active projects from day one and will quickly take ownership of key delivery workstreams. What We’re Looking For 1‑3 years of experience in Project Coordination, Project Management, PMO, or Delivery Support Strong organizational and time‑management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable interacting directly with clients and technical teams Experience working within consulting, professional services, or technology environments Strong Microsoft 365 skills including Teams, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field Preferred Experience IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, or technology project exposure Experience supporting consulting or professional services engagements Familiarity with project management or PSA tools Exposure to project budgeting, procurement, invoicing, or resource planning Federal, Public Sector, or Higher Education project experience Certifications (Preferred) CAPM PMP (or interest in pursuing) CompTIA Project+ ITIL Foundation Why Consider This Opportunity?
