Experience: Preferably 1+ year in OB/GYN practice

What You'll Do

• Provide outpatient OB/GYN care including routine exams, prenatal visits, and postpartum follow-ups
• Perform in-clinic ultrasound procedures
• Handle emergency GYN surgeries and consults from the emergency department
• Manage a patient volume of 15–25 patients per day in a busy clinic setting
• Participate in postpartum care and deliveries (approximately 2 per day)
• Collaborate with hospital staff and other providers to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Support hospital obstetric services, including call shifts and inpatient care

What You Need

• Active medical license in South Carolina or ability to obtain one
• Experience in outpatient OB/GYN practice (preferred, 1+ year)
• Strong clinical skills in women's health, prenatal, and postpartum care
• Ability to work alongside a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility to cover scheduled shifts starting October and throughout the year

About the Assignment Join a well-established OB/GYN department at a hospital with a 116-bed capacity and a Level 2 nursery. The facility handles approximately 540 deliveries annually, with daily patient volumes averaging 2 obstetric patients. The hospital provides ultrasound services and handles complex GYN cases, including emergency surgeries. This position offers a balanced mix of clinic and hospital responsibilities, providing excellent variety in your day-to-day medical practice.
