Phlebotomist III - Floater

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist III - Float to support our client's healthcare facility in Goldsboro, NC 27534 Job Details: Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, rotate Saturday/Sunday (if needed) Location: Goldsboro, NC 27534 Duration: 06 Month Contract (Possibility of extension or conversion) Pay Range: $21 to $23.50/hour Mileage Reimbursement Rate (if applicable) : $0.72 / mile *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education. #INDPHCAlliedHV Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care. Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols. Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards. Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards. Float between multiple designated locations as needed to support staffing needs and maintain smooth phlebotomy operations. Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Medical training (such as medical assistant or paramedic programs) is preferred. Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws. At least two (2) years of experience in a Patient Service Center or clinical setting is preferred.
