Finance Manager

A publicly traded, sustainability-focused environmental services company with operations across more than 100 locations nationwide is seeking a Manager of Finance & Treasury to safeguard and maximize the company's cash position while partnering with senior leadership on treasury strategy, capital structure, working capital, and financial risk management. This is a high-ownership role for an experienced finance professional who enjoys sitting at the intersection of treasury operations, FP&A, and executive partnership in a complex, operationally intensive environment. What You'll Do: Oversee the company's annual budgeting and forecasting processes - partnering with functional leaders to ensure accuracy and track key operational metrics Develop and implement treasury strategies, policies, and operations to maximize cash management while maintaining appropriate safeguards Execute daily cash management to support ongoing company operations Direct the development and revision of policies covering capital structure, working capital, foreign exchange, interest rate risk, and insurance risk management Partner with the VP of Finance & Treasury and CFO on borrowing, investing, foreign exchange, and corporate finance initiatives Develop and maintain a dashboard reporting cash management performance and material KPIs to senior management Build and manage relationships with key commercial banking contacts and monitor banking trends to support informed treasury and financing decisions Prepare ROI and investment analyses for material capital requests in partnership with functional leaders Oversee financial planning and budgeting software - driving continued improvement and maximizing utilization Train, develop, and supervise a junior financial analyst supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Participate in operations benchmarking projects including transportation, disposal, purchasing, and network optimization What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of finance experience Experience in treasury, cash management, budgeting, and forecasting Proven ability to partner with and present to senior leadership Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities Experience managing or developing junior finance staff NetSuite budgeting and planning experience a plus Why This Role Stands Out: High-ownership treasury and FP&A seat with direct CFO and VP-level partnership Broad scope across cash management, capital structure, FX, risk management, and budgeting People leadership component - develop and manage a junior analyst Mission-driven, sustainability-focused organization with a national footprint Competitive compensation with strong benefits including medical, dental, 401(k), and advancement opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr Buckingham Search
