Seasonal Contractor August - January | Company Vehicle Our client, a fast-growing leader in agricultural robotics and AI-powered farming solutions, is seeking a Field Support Technician to support growers regionally. This is a hands-on, field-based role supporting advanced equipment used in specialty and production agriculture. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working independently, and motivated to support customers in real-world farm environments. About the Opportunity Our client develops innovative technology that enables growers to improve efficiency, reduce inputs, and optimize crop outcomes at the plant level. Their proprietary equipment delivers highly precise applications for weeding, thinning, and fertilization across a variety of crops. Key Responsibilities Travel to customer sites to repair equipment in the field Maintain uptime and operational performance of deployed equipment Assist in remotely troubleshooting electro-mechanical, software, and hardware issues using diagnostic tools and collaborating with engineering. Manage service calls, scheduling, and follow-ups within your territory, owning and initiating solutions to completion. Document issues, resolutions, and field learnings to support engineering and product teams Rapidly triage hardware and software issues and escape when needed Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations and customer success teams Build strong relationships with growers and provide exceptional customer support Maintain tools, parts inventory and service records What Makes This Role Unique Work with cutting-edge agricultural robotics and precision technology Support a diverse mix of operations, including specialty crops and regional farming systems Direct impact on customer success and technology adoption in the field Qualifications Background in agriculture required (farm operations, ag equipment, or related experience) Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills 2 years relevant experience in technical support, fleet operations/service, machine/system maintenance, and/or agricultural operations.
