Quality Control Chemist

Position Overview Quality Control Chemist - Immediate Hire for 2nd Shift. Primary focus is on ensuring product quality through analytical testing and compliance with cGMP. Key Qualifications QC experience in the Pharmaceutical industry. High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), Automated Titrators, FTIR and UV/Vis Spectrophotometer. Responsibilities Follow Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP). Adapt, maintain and operate analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, TOC, UV, etc. and troubleshoot equipment. Perform routine laboratory analysis, such as finished product testing, dissolution testing, stability testing, raw material testing, cleaning verification testing and manufacturing in‑process testing. Document log books, in‑house calibration records, temperature and humidity records, etc. Perform analytical testing on finished products, in‑process (blend uniformity), and cleaning validation samples. Develop, review and update standard operating procedures for the laboratory. Conduct regular audits to ensure all lab processes are running correctly. Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related field. Prior experience working in the Pharmaceutical industry using analytical techniques including HPLC and GC. Knowledge of cGMPs, quality concepts, and Microsoft Office. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office. Strong attention to detail.
