Cabinet Maker
Responsibilities:
- Construct and assemble cabinets according to blueprints and specifications
- Measure, cut, and shape wood using power tools and hand tools
- Install hardware, such as hinges and handles, onto cabinets
- Sand and finish cabinets to ensure a smooth and polished appearance
- Collaborate with designers and clients to ensure cabinets meet their expectations
- Inspect finished cabinets for quality and accuracy
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role
- Proficiency in working with various materials, including wood, laminate, and veneer
- Knowledge of cabinet construction techniques and industry standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with CNC machines for precision cutting
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Skills:
- Proficient in using power tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and routers
- Experience with hand tools including chisels, hammers, screwdrivers, and clamps
- Knowledge of plastering, stuccoing, roofing, masonry, mold remediation is a plus
